CRAIL GOLFING SOCIETY

Founded in February 1786, Crail Golfing Society ranks among the world’s oldest golf clubs. Located on Fife’s eastern tip, it offers two distinctly beautiful links courses: Balcomie Links (by Old Tom Morris) and Craighead Links (by Gil Hanse).

Balcomie Links

A traditional links experience laid out by Morris in 1895, featuring dramatic coastal doglegs and iconic holes like the 14th with its elevated tee and bunkered green.

Craighead Links

A modern, rolling links design by Gil Hanse—seamlessly integrated into the coastal landscape, with wildlife, native stone walls, and sweeping views.

Strong global and local membership, storied traditions, and a thriving junior golf culture.
